Beauty In Everything

Beauty can be found in nature,

But not solely.

It can be found

In the simplest of places,

The eyes of a loved one,

The sunshine,

The words of a great writer,

The sounds of a melody.

Beauty brings happiness,

But there are cases it brings melancholy.

It can bring back memories of times that were better,

Times where beauty was all that mattered,

Times where we saw more beauty in the world than evil.

I came up with this poem last night as I was falling alseep. I want it to highlight how beauty was initially found as the beauty in nature or the beauty of a loved one but has turned into the beauty of someone character or the beauty of a society. I also want to highlight how although we can still find this beauty in parts of society we have lost some of that beauty to evil.
